AvailabilityTo check whether your preferred dates are available, please contact us via email or telephone (details follow). We will reply by return (in the case of email) and if the dates are available we will attach or post to you a Booking Confirmation Form (BCF).
Booking ProcedureIf available, we will hold your requested dates for you for 48hrs (longer if booking by post) after our reply. On receipt of your completed BCF your booking will become provisional. Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday (flexible out of season). To confirm your reservation of the property, in addition to the completed BCF, we require a non-returnable booking confirmation deposit of 25%; upon receipt your booking will become confirmed. We will send a confirmation statement which will be a formal acceptance of the booking.
Terms & Conditions1. A booking cannot be confirmed without payment of the non-returnable 25% deposit.
2. The balance must be paid no less than four weeks before the date of your arrival. Bookings made within four weeks of the start of the holiday require full payment at the time of booking.
3. A damage deposit of £100 (€150) is required on arrival, payable to cover any damage to the property or contents (the property being the house and grounds), although the client’s liability is not limited to this amount. The damage deposit will be returned or accounted for at the latest, within the two weeks following your departure.
4. Cancellation by the client must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation prior to eight weeks before the start of your holiday only the non-returnable booking confirmation deposit will be forfeited. Within eight weeks, cancellation charges may be up to the full rental. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSURANCE FOR BOTH MEDICAL AND PERSONAL COVER WHICH INCLUDES CANCELLATION CHARGES.
5. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant, to take good care of the property and its contents and to leave it clean and tidy at the end of the holiday. We reserve the right to deduct extra cleaning charges from the damage deposit if the property is left in an unacceptable condition.
6. In the event of any property breakdown the client is asked to report to the owners to enable repairs to be carried out at the earliest possible time. We will not be liable for any temporary stoppage in the supply of public services to the property nor in respect of any equipment or appliance failure.
7. The rental period will commence at 16:00 on the first day and end at 10:00 on the last day. If you plan to arrive earlier, please let us know and we will do our best to have the property ready for you.
8. Cancellation by owners – if for any reason the owners are obliged to cancel the client’s booking, all monies will be refunded in full. This is the limit of the owners’ liability.
9. The rental tariff is for self-catering accommodation for two people per week (unless otherwise stated) and includes: bed linen, towels (not for pool), gas, water and electricity (a surcharge may be applied for electricity in the event of prolonged very cold spells during the winter).
